MRA's are around to fight for equality between the sexes, but I would say that we are fighting feminism as a whole, not just radical feminists, because the radical feminists are solidly in control of the movement. There may be some feminists that are in favour of true equality but they have no power and generally do nothing to fight against the radicals, and are supporting them by identifying with them without calling them out.

Note that being anti-feminist doesn't mean that you are against women's rights, it just means that you are against almost all or all of what modern feminist organizations and groups are doing and saying.

The main point about the wage gap is that it is only shown to exist by not accounting for other factors that effect pay. The more factors you control for the smaller the gap is. Studies that find a wage gap generally do so because they have not accounted for all the factors that influence pay (often because the data is not available). However no-one says this because it is politically unpopular and academia has a huge feminist bias.
