I got to thinking, are there any sub-reddits that are for helping men? We have men's rights, ask men, ask men of xx age.. whatever, but those are more general questions, information, ect.

Do we have one that would be more like a big brothers type sub-reddit. A place where older, or wiser men, can help the younger coming up brothers who need things, like knowledge, support, advice, and guidance in a world that, lets be honest, is really stacking the deck against them more and more.

I have found, when helping others online, that if a Female posts she will get help and advice poured upon her. After seeing this I started to turn my attention to the young brothers who needed help. But, I don't think that is enough, what if we had a whole reddit just for promoting aid to any man, more so helping our young brothers traverse, and get a head in the world.

We want equal rights, to not be tread upon, or held down or even blamed for things that we didn't have anything to do with. While those of us who are older, and wiser, can combat these things our younger generation is drowning in these "anti male" wave of thinking that is taking over, again and again are they made to feel or flat out told they are less than.

While we may not see this equality anytime soon, the best way to get it is to have the younger generation understand what is acceptable and what isn't. A long shouting match with extremists will never really change anything. Change, real change, comes from people seeing things more clearly, and seeing the extremist for what they are.

In this way we can effect real change, by putting back the masculinity in our young men, empowering them, giving them knowledge that some of us wish we had at their age.
