It depends how certain you are you don’t want kids. If it’s maybe it’s how bummed you’d be if it’s not reversible and/or if you’re willing to pay to freeze sperm and potentially pay for IVF, which also has a significant failure rate. Or how you feel about adopting or being a step dad as a backup plan.

I think there is a somewhat high likelyhood of regretting it.

You could combine it with freezing sperm, so as to keep the option of reproduction open. However that comes with recurring costs.
