Learn to communicate a lot, and postpone it till after you believe you have a sense for the person you're talking to.

Ignore the women that tell you that you have to be spontaneous within the first few days of knowing them to spark their love. That's complete and utter crap, usually just an excuse for blowing a friend off.

Get to know the person well first. Learn how to get close to and figure people out.

That's the only way you can protect yourself from ending up with someone who might hurt you.

Well if you have that sort of attitude, of course you're never going to get laid... or so sounds the general Virginia shaming narrative. What's true is that if you display this sort of fear bordering paranoia, you will look extremely weak and unattractive to the average woman. But since the average woman is exactly who you want to avoid, it's not such a bad deal after all. You may eventually find a woman who will find you attractive and want to be with you, and she will likely be a good person who will never want to trick you, harm you, or use her advantages against you. Of course, there's also a chance you'll stay alone, which may be a big deal for you.

Do not seek out sex, but a good woman. They are not so common, but there are there, and I hope you find yours among them.
