The article is shit and the debate was shit too. There was not at all enough focus on the fact that the only reason men are falling behind is discrimination and a sexist culture that fights against them tooth and nail. The answer to the question is "men are only finished (for a little while) if we keep making sure they fail". Of course, if we keep making sure men fail, it all falls apart and then it's back to "patriarchy". So no, men will never truly be finished.

Hanna Rosin, a child abusing bigot, and her male counterpart, a sexist asshole named Dan Abrams who didn't do anything but make jokes, were against Christina Hoff Sommers, who rarely made any point and kept talking stupid about how feminism has done so much for the world, and David Zinczenko, who didn't know what he was talking about.

None of these clowns are going to solve our problems or even talk meaningfully about the real problem - discrimination against men and boys. Even Christina Hoff Sommers couldn't make a good fucking point, and she wrote The War Against Boys.

The other question I kept returning to was “Is Feminism over? Is there anything left for it to accomplish?” I had a feeling that the panelists might have said that it was over but for different reasons – Rosin and Abrahams because women are ascendant and Hoff Summers and Zinczenko because women are equal. However, they all did acknowledge remaining barriers to women’s success especially outside of the United States, so they might not have agreed so neatly.

No, moron, masculinity is not finished - it is merely demonized and unappreciated, even though it is what makes the world run. The idea that femininity, and basically cooperation, lack of competition, never saying your mind, always caring about feelings, is a leftist (bullshit) idea. And see how "they all did" acknowledge remaining barriers to women's success "especially" outside the US - promoting more western intervention in shit that isn't any of their business, when they should be focusing on the REAL human rights issue of the century - men's and boy's rights.

Christina Hoff Sommers and her ilk will accomplish little for men and boys because they buy into a lie, and are completely willing to placate the opposition with "oh the poor wimminz" bullshit like how "oppressed" women are in third world countries. That's why the "radicals" AKA MRAs AKA people who tell the truth about things even if it offends someone are necessary for the men's rights movement to make any real progress. I am tired of feminists, manginas, and others who glorify womanhood as the epitome of humanity shitting on men like this and claiming to help.

This debate could have been summed up like so: Bigots (openly misandric Hanna Rosin + Abrams) vs. Cowards (Hoff Sommers and Zinczenko).

The simple truth is that men are only "finished" if they let themselves be finished.
Supposing men, as a whole, ignored sexist laws and came to retake their positions at the top of the economic hierarchy (let's not act like women aren't overpowering the market), it wouldn't be hard at all for men to strong arm their way through women.
call it sexist if you like, but historically and today, men excel at most every job that women are trying to break into heavily. There's a reason that today the most mentally demanding and physically demanding professions are largely male dominated and women are not flocking to them. Construction is almost a no go area for women. The same for the vast majority of sciences (except Psychology, which the NSA takes as a science, but college give a BA, not a BS for. I'm sure the NSA recognizes Psychology, other than there being real science in it, because without, there's far fewer women in science for their numbers).
Men are far from being finished. It's just a matter of men speaking up for the first time in history about being pushed aside.
