There are no doubt a lot of double standards used for men and women, for example, when teachers sleep with students. But aren’t some double standards justified? Not everything a man does has exactly the same significance or consequence as when a woman does it, and vice versa. We may disagree about which double standards are okay, but can we at least agree that sometimes having two different standards is appropriate?
