Australian MRAs may soon be banned from posting on r/mensrights, as the Australian government leans on technology social media giants (including reddit) to self censor hate speech or posts critical of women (i.e. any speech critical of feminism or women).

The Australian e-Commissioner is a radical feminist who believes only women can be targets of gendered harassment online, and says this on the e-Commision web page;

"Why women? Women are more likely than men to be the target of sexual and gendered abuse that happens online or uses digital technology.Tech-based abuse (sometimes known as ‘technology-facilitated abuse’) is behaviour that uses an online space or digital technology to threaten, intimidate, bully, harass, humiliate or coerce someone. Women are likely to experience tech-based abuse more frequently than men and have to deal with it over longer periods of time. The abuse is often more severe in its nature and damaging in its psychological impact, leaving women twice as likely (26.3%) to fear for their safety compared to men (12.6%)."

The e-Commission laws do not strictly provide powers for the commissioner to directly censor online posts, but instead provides for $millions fines for social media platforms deemed to be not addressing these issues. this vagueness will lead to over cautious self-censoring by social media giants, rather than defending long court battles over poorly defined issues of abuse or harassment.

Given Australians have no guarenteed constitutional rights to freedom of speech (other than political speech), this draconian law, run by feminists for feminist clearly targets men (the only group not mentioned as a vulnerable group on the e-Commission's web page.

I'd rally love to know an example right now of violent extremist content, because 100% of the time it's calling out and criticizing violent, hate filled feminists.

They call that ~~rape~~, ~~hate~~, violence.
