I F***ING hate comments like this. I was raised with "don't hit women" which never bothered me, seemed like sound logic... Until I was in an abusive relationship. That's when I figured out that I was given zero instructions of what I should do if it happens to me. At the time, all I had was Google for help, which unsurprisingly wasn't helpful.

If you don't want you daughter in a toxic relationship, then make sure she know that her causing abuse is equally wrong. You don't want you son to be an abuser, then also teach him what to do if he's the one that could be abused.

I get the intent, but toxic relationships aren't inherently something made by men. There are plenty of women who are just awful people, they gaslight, then abuse, they do all this shit, just as any man can, moreso, in some cases, since men trend towards physical abuse and women towards emotional/mental.

Its stupid also to assume your son will never get into a toxic relationship or that the daughter cannot make one. If you've done your job as a parent properly, they shouldn't create such a relationship and they wouldn't suffer one for long. Protect your children and teach them right, no matter the genitals they might have.

Yeah, we are at this point: a father (or mother, but you assuming it's a woman is just an affirmation) who doesn't want his son to Create a toxic relationship and his/her daughter not be in one.
