I agree that everyone we should fight for human rights, but you can fight for both. You can be in a human rights group and a men’s rights group. We need a men’s rights group because other groups that are supposed to give everyone rights seem to ignore a lot of male problems, so this is a group that specifically addresses those. So while everyone should fight for human rights, we still need a group for men’s rights so that they are acknowledged

You notice the shoe that has a pebble in it more than the one that doesn't because people notice the thing that bothers them more. The problem, on the whole, with this sub is that people here are doing the absolute worst they see in feminism: noticing only the things that bother them personally and assuming that the things they don't notice don't exist.

Sexism exists, and it impacts men and women differently (but both in negative ways). We can either assume that the things that don't feel real to us don't exist because we aren't the ones who suffer more from them, or we can recognize that other people's experience of suffering and bias probably has more truth than we recognize if we're not the victim of it.
