Without being very knowledgeable on the subject, I suppose that one of the worst and most revolting violations of privacy in US men's prisons is the use of female staff who can monitor the men even in the showers or in their cells. I have never read of protests against this practice, but maybe that's just me. I wonder if male staff can do the same in women's prisons.

Yup, not just jail either. Females seeing males naked is just seen as no big deal. Hell, if women raping men/boys is no big deal, why would women seeing naked men be taken seriously?
