Circumcision isn’t done often in the UK, unless one is Jewish. No male in my family has ever been circumcised. That being said, my cousin had his tonsils removed at age seven without his consent and now that he is in his forties, he is pretty pissed at his parents. They told him that the tonsils were “diseased”, but he isn’t so sure. Tonsil and appendix removal was extremely common years ago and my guess is that is was fashionable to haul them out on a “just in case” basis. No one who has had anything surgically removed or altered without their consent, is whole, sadly. Punching holes in ear lobes, wisdom teeth extraction, genital mutilation, hospital birth by male obstetricians over home births with midwives, unnecessary removal of organs and tissue. Medicine, religion, and fashion aren’t always practiced with human rights in mind.

“There are immediate risks to circumcision such as bleeding, infection and penile injury, as well as complications recognized later that may include buried penis, meatal stenosis, skin bridges, chordee and poor cosmetic appearance. Some of these complications may require surgical correction.”

“The risks and disadvantages of circumcision are encountered early whereas the advantages and benefits are prospective.”

The majority of circumcisions performed are without any medical need yet the potential of risks and complications are realised the moment it is performed.

The burden of these risks is carried by the child not the parent.

Nothing should be taken from the human body from babies or children because they are not able to give consent. We make rash decisions about things like circumcision, organ removal, surgery, without having consent. So many adults are now living with depression and anxiety because their parents butchered them as children. My cousin mourns his lost tonsils. He is really cut up that his parents supposedly acted on his behalf with some ruse about illness, likely hatched up by a doctors to line his pockets. Nobody asks to be circumcised or to have organs removed when they are underage. People are born exactly as they should be left. There is always a “reason” for butchering children; we need to leave well enough alone and allow nature to nurture.

I have all my tonsils and appendix and I consented to having braces and wisdom teeth removed. I regret both because it literally destroyed my mouth however none of those has no where the impact having missing my sex organs. I can get teeth implants and have a good life without an overbite but circumcision has prevented me from ever having sex, having relationships and starting a family.

Furthermore, I believe that men who we’re circumcised as infants and children who did not consent to surgeries, before their teenage years, should be able to sue their parents and the doctors who butchered them. At the very least, I suppose parents can be punished by their adult children cutting off all contact. There must be support groups for sufferers. There is a man is South Asia last year who was trying to sue his parents because he did not consent to being born. It kinda makes sense to me. Just because we CAN procreate, does not mean we SHOULD.

And, if our children grow up and realize that they were altered in any way, like circumcision, surgery, medical intervention or assigned a gender that they do not identify as, they should be able to get some good payouts.

So many younger people today are enraged by being assigned gender at birth, and I cant say I blame them. I love the new ways of leaving gender/sex out of things. New names that do not dictate how a human should or should not flourish into adulthood. Blue and pink baby outfits, the assumption that, if it has a penis it must BE A BOY, if it has a vulva it must BE A GIRL. Utter nonsense. There is no gender sex ideal anymore.

A shout out to all the women who were assigned male at birth and were circumcised by ignorant parents and an equally ignorant medical community...Stop the circumcisions of WOMEN and MEN today.

It just dawned on me! Circumcision is NOT an inherently male issue, is it? How many women identified penis havers have been cut? Boggles the mind, doesn’t it?

Oh, haha! I looked at that post and realized that I was being maybe a little too facetious. Sadly, the new mindset, and the law in countries like Canada, now states, in no uncertain terms, that gender/sex identity is solely down to the person who self identifies. That is the law. And in the UK, the Thames Valley Police and some other police services now allow a “penis-having person” who has just sexually assaulted a “vagina-having person” to self identify their gender. What am I bid they generally say “female” just to get out of doing time in a men’s prison? Give it a few years and we will find that more “penis-having” WOMEN are charged with raping other “vagina-having” women. Mark my words. I do believe that there are many “penis-havers” in women’s prison as I write this. However, to challenge this new way of thinking is to be labelled a “terf” ( trans-exclusionary radical feminist) or transphobic and to be shunned by many. So, maybe I’m just trying to fit my old self into the new politically correct, woke state I see around me.

And some men I know were circumcised and are completely ok with it, btw.
