Our main problem with it is that it is literally genital mutilation. I see nothing wrong with a child, iff they have circumstances that are dangerous to their future health in a significant manner, or a consenting adult being circumcised. That goes for both genders.

Often the health benefits are too minute to seriously benefit the child or are for matters that could easily be taken care of when presenting signs.

Lastly, ~80% of US men are circumcised however men don't tend to ostracize each other over such matter, although some may joke about size. If a woman teases you for it, then let it serve as proof you should not be with her. Plus, it is much less common abroad and in decline in America.

Mgm should be make illegal just like fgm. It should be looked at the exact same way and it isn't. Piercing a cheek gets more outcry. In 100 years we are going to look back at ourselves and think what a barbaric age we lived in. Edit grammer

My main problems with this whole anti-circumcision thing are as follows:

Being circumcised doesn't negatively affect someone's life. To use the example of the video where people may be ostracised for not adhering to the cultural values, isn't it better to simply circumcise the baby to prevent that?
It does have health benefits, I'm not saying I agree that a baby should be circumcised just for hygiene, but an argument can certainly be made there. Hygiene aside, issues such as paraphimosis are not a joke. I was downvoted in another thread for saying that a baby should be circumcised in an instance where it would save it from needing it's entire penis amputated, I simply fail to see a logical argument against that.
Why does it matter? Honestly, many people here, myself included, feel that many modern feminists and other SJWs make issues out of nothings and it badly damages the credibility of the legitimate points they try to make. The same is true here, there are serious problems facing men today, such as our ludicrously high suicide rate. Don't you see that putting out circumcision (a procedure that doesn't really have many negatives, and some positives) as such a key issue does nothing but make the movement as a whole look... frankly childish?
