Hey all,

im in england, im 27 and about 3 months ago i was arrested for coercive control allegations brought forward by an ex who i dated for 2 months and who left me and i have now come to find out she may be a covert narcissist.

She has lied so much to the police in her statement including things such as i support hamas and putin (im white and british so also makes no sense) and bullshit like i kept her from friends (she saw her friends more than me and i didnt care)

because of this i had a complete breakdown, work has suspended me whilst police investigation goes on and all i do is sit in my house miserable.

i was due to report for bail on december 14th but its got extended to jan 14th they weirdly also gave me my phone back 2 weeks ago (they took it on initial arrest) and ive heard literally nothing.

I have a solicitor but theres not much more i can do till police finish investigations.

I fully can’t believe someone can ruin anyones life over a statement i feel life is so fucked.

Im posting here anyway for advice as i know this law was dreamt up by feminists and UK and australia seem to be hitting men with it and its protecting narcissistic women.

I feel so doomed, she manipulated and destroyed my life and i cant even make truthful counter claims cause theyd use the ol darvo when truth is the narc ex is using police as part of a smear campaign.

i am concerned for the future of this country if this is how our law is.
