We don't want anyone to look too gay in our theatrical, costumed dance routine that cheers on the sweaty men in their tight uniforms. Pathetic, offensive and totally unacceptable.

So, basically, males just shouldn't cheerlead as good or interestingly as women. I guarantee no rule would pass that says girls aren't allowed to run fast or jump high or throw hard in football. It's nice that so many people think it's bad, though.

I'm going to sit back and enjoy my popcorn on this one, and you should too. Here, come and join me on the couch, let's eat some popcorn together.

Let's watch our society insist that if there's an all male space without an all female space equivalent, then the all male space must be removed out of fairness and equality (Title IX).

Now, here's where you get angry and start to get up from the couch, but hold on friend! Wait! Sit down, it'll be worth it, I promise!

Let's then watch these very same people begin removing or forcibly suppressing men from places/events/sports dominated or otherwise predominantly owned by women. Let's watch them tell men they swim too fast and outshine their female counterparts, then be removed from the team. Let's watch the boy get kicked off the football team because the girls can't keep up with him. Let's watch male cheerleaders be told they can't perform to the best of their abilities, or even be happy about what they're doing, because it detracts from the female cheerleaders.

I know this is hard to watch, but stay with me, here comes the good part!

Let's then watch these people try to defend all male spaces when there exists the equivalent for women. Let's watch these people try to defend all female spaces when there doesn't exist the equivalent for men. Let's watch these people try to defend kicking the girl off the swim team or football team because she's dragging the team down.

Let's watch them paint themselves into a corner with their own rules and give us what we had to begin with. Let's watch them come full circle and conclude with the understanding that men and women are different and thus should have different spaces, there's nothing discriminatory about segregating sports as our physical differences are readily apparent, and if either gender wants to try their hand in the other's space then they have to play by their rules.

I'm pretty sure this is about male flamboyance.
