I'll try and keep this brief and to the point. I'm not sure where to go from here, so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. I initiated divorce action almost year and a half ago. I sought joint, she sought primary. There were problems with her drinking, we finaly came to joint parenting plan and a 24 hour no drinking provision was put in. I thought foolishly this would help. She ended her first affair with guy 1 that I know of. we have final hearing, she asks to make temp. to see if parenting plan would work. Immediately after, she introduces kids to guy she met online, he starts punishing them. Drinking continues, Overnight clause violated, kids not getting to school on time, or homework completed. Leaves them with guy who has arrest warrant out, a lot of other crazy things, none of them good. I amend petition for primary. She hires new lawyer, lies and accusations (none sexual) continue. Find out she is pregnant. Her attorney files for GAL even though judge says no motions before court and awards GAL without our response. GAL turns in report today rec. joint custody. Kiddos are hanging in but do not like guy who has left, come back, left, come back, etc. GAL report is not accurate and totally biased. What do I do now. Should I settle knowing my kids will have a normal life 6 months out of the year, or risk it and go to trial. While the report recs. joint, it paints me in a bad light as the GAL believed her lies. Any advice would be extremely appreciated. Thanks
