Presumably it happens but I can't pick individual examples and say that is what they are. There have been a lot of ragebait / general hatred posts and comments lately.

Our widely varied userbase and loose moderation makes us extremely easy to troll.
I guess we are also a target for manipulators trying to gather converts to their cause, attack other groups, split certain groups, spread fake news etc. The Russians would be remiss if they didn't have people who monitor this sub to learn how it works, whether they participate regularly or not.

Pointing out facts about sexual inequality is causing 'political division' in your eyes? Guess I know not to hang out with you then, yeah it's attitude's like yours that are causing division not 'Russians'.

It just shows you how arrogant people are that they'd genuinely try to blame this instead of realising it's their intolerant behaviour that's causing the fucking problems for people. You might be observing the reaction to the dems catering to women. Scott Adams actually pointed this out in a recent podcast, about how the dems are becoming the "party of women".

Mind you, I hate that description; as if all women are so petty and short sighted as to not being able to see what female-first/only policies will bring. Regardless, generically it seems accurate; the dems really are gunning to become the party of women.

I agree this sub has been getting more and more politically divided, and a lot of it is making people from different sides, that are saying almost the same thing but for slightly different reasons, start slinging insults around.

However, I think saying it's "Russian trolls" is rather naive. It's more likely just stupid people being stupid and politics getting in the way of the type of discussion this sub should have.
