Earlier this year there were some posts here about an Australian art gallery (MONA) run by a woman using money from her multi-millionaire husband. The issue was that she excluded males from part of the gallery (the Ladies Lounge). A man challenged the discrimination & won.

Latest development is that she appealed & the judge ruled in her favour. She summed up the judge’s decision: “Today’s verdict demonstrates a simple truth: women are better than men.”

I'm not sure about that on a number of levels. The reality was that the judge seems not to understand the basics of equality. He assumes that allowing women in & excluding men is “equal opportunity”. His ignorance is simply astounding. Clearly, women & men were not being treated equally at all. And I worry it’s part of a trend among judges away from the actual law towards whatever is expedient for their feminist masters - no matter how nonsensical.
