Was at the DMV today in Canada. A woman started yelling at the man in front of her, because he apparently stepped out of the line (it was like two steps away for maybe a second and to get a form). He obviously was trying not to get involved in that type of stuff. Asks her to stop, then when she escalated to verbal threats, the man asked for security. A DMV person came and basically scolded the woman for being a Karen. Everything was fine for about 2 minutes. Then, the man makes a comment (he was on air pods and clearly on the phone with someone), and the woman uses that to lose her shit. Like, goes ballistic. She claims he’s harassing her, and starts telling the other people in line what a POS he is, and how he was making fun of her etc. Clearly all lies. But what blew my mind, was that the people in line all surrounded this lady like white nights, and started going after HIM! They started insulting him and his manhood, accusing him of being a p*say to start a fight with a woman, etc. All this man was doing was talking on the phone. The woman continues to go off about men and how men are so privileged. As she goes on, more and more people (mostly immigrants and white knight looking people) surround the man and start threatening him. He asks again loudly for the DMV person to deescalate. She comes and rebukes him for making inappropriate comments and being rude (all he said was that he felt unsafe, and that the woman belonged in a mental institution, which was probably correct). Eventually, the DMV people ask him to go to the front of the line to avoid this problem getting any worse.

What was crazy to me, was that had the genders been reversed, everybody would have rightfully called out the perpetrator (the crazy woman), for being a narc. But because she was a woman, and claimed privilege and everything, every white knight under the sun helped her to accost her victim even more. What a double standard!! This kind of thing reinforces even more to me that men really have it tough in the world today. Stay strong fellas
