MRM is not an anti-feminism movement. Feminism has just created issues for men or at the very least ignores men's issues. If feminism did not exists there would still be a need for mens rights activism until discriminating laws are changed.

I'll take that and run with it. It also seems that without an adversary to fight against, the feminists desperately strike at anything. Blacks had the KKK and clear and defined racists. So, demonize their actions, show themselves to be legitimate victims in the situation of racism, and push for a stronger community to better strive for a unified community.

Feminists seem to be trying all the actions... But they lack the clear and defined adversary. So you wind up with a bunch of people striking at what shirt a scientist wears, and "manspreading".

But then, before we become that bad, who's our clear and defined enemy?

Yeah I'm going to say no they didn't.

Racists like the KKK and homophobic people like Rick Perry act like a softening blow to the people who share the same ideas;they are extreme and insane,making the run of the mill people softer to the idea of equality

It's not the need for a counter-movement, you're simply mistaking a movement for an ideology.

A movement has a set of goals that it needs to see accomplished and actual problems that it feels need to be dealt with.Hence the use of the word "movement", it moves a certain distance and then stops.

Black people, gays, and other such groups had actual legitimate problems, stemming from hatred and oppressive treatment that needed to be addressed. They were able to point at society and point to what was actually going on and show in reality how bad things were for them.So they sat around and figured out what those problems were. Then started pushing to have things done about them.Once they got what they needed,they began to stop moving.

The problem with feminism is that women don't really have any problems. There is no hatred of women or oppression of women and there doesn't really seem to ever have been. The majority of the problems that feminism complains about are just the reverse side of the privileges they receive because of the degree to which society cares about their well-being and safety, or caters to them.Or them taking general human problems and pretending that they only apply to women (domestic violence,rape,harassment, etc.).

So they can't point to real evidence of them having any problems, they simply take it as an article of faith. This is the very point of feminist theory. It exists to figure out how women are oppressed. Not are they oppressed, it doesn't ask that.But it asks how are they oppressed.It's a presupposed premise for them.

This is the difference with an ideology.An ideology is a worldview, a religion. In this case, the worldview hinges on the idea that women are oppressed. So if women aren't oppressed, then the worldview collapses. Hence, there must always be some new oppression when the previous one gets old. They literally cannot stop.

It's the same with religion.God must exist and the holy book must be true because if it isn't then the entire worldview that you've adopted crumbles into dust.So you'll always ignore anything that says otherwise or try to justify it withing the context of the faith.

In the case of religion,instead of oppression they measure sins which, just like female oppression, are subjective and vague. So there can always be new sin to fight and a need for the religion. If there were no sin, you would need no religion to save you/forgive you from it.
