don't do that. tell it to your MP or whatever and get the law changed. nothing to gain by jabbing at private citizens.

had the law been fair and just she would be in jail now - so work for that.

That depends. If she has gone to the police with the accusation then she is legally protected and you cannot name her.

If it is just a allegation that she has not gone to the police with then you can do what you want.

Her name and allegation only receive anonymity when she actually goes to the police with the accusation.

No, don't do that, you'll get dragged into it as well. What would be helpful to your friend would be to record any kind of posts or messages about him.

For the guy himself, if he has any messages at all posted by her that conflict with her version of events then he could potentially sue for defamation. It all depends on what evidence you can gather though, also, the longer you leave it the more difficult it will be to prosecute.

Record everything, if you have messages from the g/f that prove the relationship was consensual it can be invaluable to a case. Sometimes cases that have lasted for months have often been dropped immediately because of one text or social media post.

A totalitarian government like the U.K. will not permit justice to take place. You will be at great risk if you wish to act against someone that has committed a heinous act like a false rape accusation.

Keep in mind, the U.K. and europe as a whole, does not have liberty of expression; You can and will be jailed for "naughty words" or "forbidden ideas" (See: Count Dankula and Tommy Robinson).

I am from/in Mexico, I am a part time professor and I told my students today that in europe, they are working towards banning internet memes; They did not believe me.

When I said I wasn't joking they asked why and how that was even possible, my respone was "We have liberty of expression, they do not." which caused the students to start exclaiming "I'm glad I don't live there" and "I couldn't live if self expression was a crime" , etc.

tldr Europe sucks.
