There is no data on the rate of false rape statistics since 2011. If I am wrong, please somebody correct men. But I know of zero studies done on false rape accusations since #metoo.

The 2-3% is basically propaganda. They said it enough times that it became true for two years. Except there were probably more false rape accusations in the last two years than there has ever been in history.

My wife works at a major university and deals with these types of complaints, she says that 95%+ of the rape accusations she hears end up being either lies or completely unsubstantiated (aka lies). It's a convenient tool for women to use to control men, they're just starting to realize lately that they can do it without any repercussions anymore.

This was brought up and I were told that approximately 2-3% of rape is false and confirmed false. However, I thought this was a false statistic.

The devil is in the details, what they are saying is true, but a half truth. What they are saying with this statement is that of the 100% of the rape cases they came across there where only 2 to 3 % of the cases were proven to be false claims. But of this same 100% of cases you'll only end up with 5% conviction rate, these are cases proven to be correct claims.

This leaves about 92 to 93% of the rape cases to be undecided. With statistics like these you can make the wildest claims and "back them up with data". But the reality is that if someone accepts the "fact" that only 2-3% of the rape accusations are false, then they'd also have to accept that only 5% of the rape accusations are actual true. Neither is true of course, as the other 92% are either false or true too, there just isn't any evidence for the court to figure out what happened.

The most common comeback to these stats is often 'but its hard to prove rape', what they seem to forget that its even harder to prove that someone made false claims about rape. The only "obvious" times rape claims can be disproved is when there wasn't any sexual contact at all, but that isn't a slam-dunk by any means.

<5% is provable to be false rape accusations.

<5% is provable to be rape.

The others have circumstantial or secondary evidence, so it can go either way.

the 2% of rape cases being false is when the woman ADMITS she made up the lie in front of the Judge, which is very rare. It does not take into account the nature of the cases, which if delved to, you can see roughly 60-80% of cases being false.

Majority of cases are also from your own wife or girlfriend seeking revenge or an advantage in family court, like my ex-wife who claimed I raped her. When a woman does that, she gets the house and the kids automatically, so there are a lot of benefits to claim rape with zero repercussions.

There’s no HARD statistical information, and certainly no real statistical information after, say 2015– that I know of, but I’m not always trawling through the internet, so I could have missed a bunch- but here’s an article that will state that the “only 2-8% of false accusations are true” bullshit is just that- bullshit.

Now....whether you want to pretend that this means that because only a small percentage of false accusations can be PROVEN to be truly false means that this bullshit statistic has meaning, or if you want to more strongly consider that the truth about false accusations must be greater than at least the bullshit statistic of “only 2-8%” is more likely the truth, is up to you.

But consider this, on the other side of things. We as men are beaten about the head with ” only 2-8% of false accusations are true”. That’s roughly anywhere from as low as 1 in 50, to as many as 1 in 12, men.
We as men are also often beaten about the head with ** “.....mumble mumble rape epidemic mumble mumble 1 in 6 mumble mumble.....“** Well, point out to those who say that, “Well, that’s only about 16 percent! That’s not an epidemic!”

Now, after all of the shouting dies away, especially from the one or two who want to say that, “Even one woman raped is too much!” — or words to that effect, then ardently remind those who would beat us about the head with that “2-8%” statistic, that if even one woman raped is too much, that the same applies to men- even one man falsely accused and falsely convicted of rape is too much.

Sorry to try and turn this on its ear, but I just felt like it needed to be said....

False rape conviction are often rare.

But what is damming is the social media trials that are done by false accusers. They won't have any evidence or anything, and would not even file cases. They would just say so and so harrassed me. And everyone would applaud her for coming out and the guy will loose their family, career, friends everything.

All because some girl wanted some likes in Facebook/Instagram.
