FDA panel backs 'pink Viagra' for sexual dysfunction in women

These people are confused about what Viagra does for men. It does nothing to enhance the libido of men as this article claims the "pink Viagra" does for women. So it is not really comparable to Viagra. The pills do different things for different reasons. The problem Viagra solves is the inability to get an erection. An inability to get an erection is a physical problem. That has nothing to do with libido or sexual desire. So to call this drug for women "pink Viagra" is incorrect.

Okay. Weird question time, guys.

I'm gay so I honestly have no idea how the minds of women work. What little looking into it I've done has said that sex for women is emotional/mental, while for men it's mainly physical.

My question is, aside from the cases where women are suffering from genuine sexual dysfunction, why would a woman want to take this? If she's happy with the amount of sex she's getting but her partner isn't, what incentive would she have to take it aside from "it's what he wanted me to do"? I'm every bit as against that as a man being forced to take Viagra because he doesn't want to have sex with his partner.

I really hope that's not offensive or too bizarre of a question to ask, but I honestly have no idea how the minds of women work as I've never dealt with one romantically. Could someone explain?
