Female majority profession repeatdly block attempts to recruit more men while male majority ones bend over backwards in schemes to hire more women....... my point the common feminist lie that "men aren't minority in those professions due to discrimiantion" is blatant lie.

YES! MRA's fighting back in Kenya - UN/WHO is forcing men in circumcision. Due to resistance it is now shifting to non consensual circ of infants - In Philippines 70% of boys get PTSD (Circs are done IN PUBLIC age ~10 - see paper and 40% in one cohort were infected)

'Boys underperform in schools because we look after their wellbeing less' - we split boys and girls up in schools talks.... we tell the girls about self confidence, STEM, body image... we tell the boys not to be sexist misogynist rapists

Feminsit Kindergarten teacher finds Legos are good for cognitive development in young children and so BANS boys from playing with them in order to "close the gender gap" - also OECD study shows teachers mark girls higher for identical work

Teachers mark girls higher for IDENTICAL work to boys (OECD study). Furthermore, a boy will receive 1/3 higher grade in reading tests if the techer does not know he is a boy (OECD) From kday 1 of early yers education they also grade boys lower despite them objectively getting higher test scores

This is a great counter arguement everytime someone here posts men kill etc. I am suprsised I never thought about it! The number of women who save mens lives at risk to their own lives (e,g, firefghters, moutain rescue, milatry, every day hero) is almost negligble compared to men

"Prostate cancer now kills more people than breast cancer, UK figures reveal" - A common feminist lie is that men dont die of prostate cancer and die of other things, hence one of reasons its funded less... this is false... more men actually die of the disease than breast cancer

For every 1 woman in Wales, £3.44 is spent by the government on womens groups. For every 1 man, £0.04 is spent. Remind me again which gender lives shorter, has worse health, more likely to be a victim of crime, worse educational outcomes, homeless, incarcerated, suicide, victim of hate crime, etc?

Must be an order from corporate to only hire women. After all they only have to pay them 70% eh!

No shit.... I spent 3 weeks doing interviews for a position, and kept getting sent underwhelming resumes.

Now, this is an IT position.... Turns out, HR was forcing minority women down our throats. Which is fine. My team has several very capable minority women on it.

They were expecting me to hire another for diversity. None of the resumes fit the position, and 5 interviews proved it.

Told them to expand to men also, and within a week I got a handful of resumes that worked for us, and found a candidate.

He started this week.

Now, I am all about equality and diversity in the workplace. I am not about it at the cost of reliability and experience. I need qualified people, I don't care what race, religion, or gender.

The really fucked up thing about this scenario is that you'd have people screaming from the rooftops if you'd started with white men and only expanded the search if there were no applicants that fit the criteria. I hate affirmative action with a passion! I'm all for choosing the diverse applicant to get better numbers if there's no other way of distinguishing between 2 candidates equally qualified but this is excluding candidates based on race - another recruiter may well have just chose the most suitable from what they were presented instead of telling them to expand the search.

Literally this, nobody should care what race, religion or gender someone is. The workforce should be hired by work experience, years in the field, and everything else that will make you good at the job you want. Not because we need more females for diversity and shit like that.

I remember seeing a video of a talk that was held at a university and there was a CEO of a small tech company in the audience, the CEO happened to be a woman. She said she mainly hires men because the women she tried to hire were lazy or just not qualified, if even women say this then I don't understand how feminists can deny that hiring based on gender/race/religion is a bad thing.

How can that be fine!

[–]AFuddyDuddy 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

At it's core, I don't see a problem with it considering the industry. What I have a problem with is the clear lack of aptitude of the resumes being presented.

This leads to 2 possible conclusions:

It is more evidence that job bias is real, and there are in fact jobs that men and women gravitate to.

or, they were intentionally sabotaging by sending sub-standard resumes, evidenced by the immediate alignment of resume expectations when it was a Man.

I tend to lean towards the former, and encourage all fair considerations towards an equal employment. I do, however, require qualified applicants.

Well, they aren't wrong about men not being in those professions due to discrimination. It's just against men.
