I’m not sure if I’m the only one noticing this, but over the past few months there’s been a sudden wave of posts on r/MRA from accounts with a clearly (or sometimes subtly) feminist-leaning perspective. Many of these accounts are either brand new or hiding their stats.

To be clear, I’m all for healthy discussion. Most of these posts when expressing opposing views, aren’t overly hostile. And I’m not bothered by people creating new accounts to participate here — we all know many other subreddits will automatically ban for such outrageous ban as posting on r/MRA. What really caught my attention is how abruptly this shift happened.

As a long‑time r/MRA reader, the subreddit has always felt heavily and purposefully marginalized — treated as something that “shouldn’t be mentioned,” dismissed as barely active, or written off as an extremist corner. Alternative viewpoints used to appear maybe once every two months, usually from someone trying to assert intellectual superiority, and then disappearing. But around three months ago, that changed. Suddenly there are many users with feminist‑leaning views showing up.

Am I the only one who sees this? If not, what’s causing it? Is another subreddit organizing some kind of “educational outreach”? Is this a university assignment from a women’s studies class? I’m genuinely curious.
