This is because the prevailing attitude among many, including feminists, is that sex is something done to a woman, instead of something mutual between both parties. While it's clear that sex without consent is rape, it gets muddied when neither party can consent - therefore, it defaults to the one "doing" the sex, which to many, is always the man.

Here is an overview of the actual American laws on sexual assault. As you can see, you are quite mistaken. There is most definitely a lot of loose talk broadly defining sexual assault, but that does not mean this is actually the law.

It's called leftist totalitarianism. It's very logical. The Chinese and USSR were masters at this kind of nonsense and used it to every advantage to eliminate even the smallest opposition to their power. It's exactly the same with the US left wing - they're a bunch of politically motivated criminal human rights violators.
