This isn't homework or anything, I've been out of school for almost 15 years now...

I'm going to be giving a speech about Fatherhood. Every Mother's Day people always go on about the importance of mothers and so on; Father's Day was just a bit ago and I would like to do the same but for fathers.

Looking for statistics, studies, good resources that talk about how important fathers are in their children's lives, what fathers do that single moms generally don't.

Not looking for much negative stuff about how much single moms suck or anything, I want it to mostly be positive stuff about Dads, and only briefly touch on the problems that occur when Dad isn't around.

Why do children need fathers? What makes them special?
