If you want to live under the protection of the military and get to have a vote, then your service may be compelled in times of need. Your rights come with a cost of service. If you dont like it, then head off into anarchist territory and die alone in the wilderness trying to defend yourself.

First of I am entitled to military protection because I pay taxes, second off if people cant opt out of military service then it give the government way to much power to wage war with less consequences.
