Recently my high school English teacher assigned a project to make a public service announcement to raise awareness for some kind of cause. A few days before I had stumbled upon this subreddit, never having really considered this an issue and my friend and I jokingly suggested it. After further research however we realized that it truly is a problem, and we proposed our project to be specifically about mens rights in sexual harassment and rape situations. She approved the project and the concept, and we filmed and presented it. After presenting it however she failed us because it was not a "real cause." I am asking, if anyone is comfortable sharing, for personal accounts related to this so that my friend and I can prove to her that this is in fact a "real cause."
