What exactly is the point of marriage? Especially when one gender gets all the rights and the other gets all the responsibilities. You always hear about alimony being there to provide the woman with the lifestyle "she became accustomed to", but never hear a court force a woman to have sex with her ex because that's what he became accustomed to.

Marriage today is nearly only the prerequisite for divorce in the same way that building your house right on a cliff's edge is nearly only the prerequisite for it falling off a cliff. Plenty of men have done both, but it's increasingly on too thin ground today and the fall is higher than ever before. Why do something you can experience the benefits of from without permanent endangerment? Just as you can take a hike up on the cliff to enjoy the view now and then you can fuck sluts and then go home.

Gay or politically gay marriage makes much more sense. Gay and politically gay communities could be a great men's rights venue for change. Gay marriage is therefore of men's rights interest and could be the second renaissance of marriage.

Why do these people even write articles if they won't point out the obvious? It's not a paradox, marriage sucks for heterosexual men but may still be salvagable for gays/transgendered.

Marriage was honestly never that good to begin with. It was just a means to appease your crappy church/family and still make some broad feel like a Disney princess. It's just now the power dynamic has shifted away from family/church down to the woman who wants to feel like a princess so it's more obvious.
