They absolutely can be compared and the reason you only hear about blacks when it comes to the incarceration rate is that these people do not want to see men as discriminated against because it would wreck their narrative. I need to dig up the source or somebody could post it up here but there's a definite track record of not just black men but white men on the whole being incarcerated far more than women.

I looked up some data for you, while this is extremely detailed, it deliberately leaves out one aspect and in fact most of the 'mainstream' sites I came across do the same and that is the gender of the blacks being incarcerated, they're all male.

This is the statistics on incarceration rates and this is just for this month apparently, when you look at the bigger picture the incarceration rate gap gets even bigger. Left wing news sources in particular are hiding this information because it stops them from using their own personal definitions of 'systemic racism' and so on in order to divide people up.

Now don't get me wrong, blacks getting disproportionately incarcerated is still a massive issue, but that is mainly down to black on black crime which is another thing that is taboo to talk about in the left, they refuse to do anything about it. This is why you only ever see BLM out on the street whenever it's a white person or some other ethnicity killing a black guy, it doesn't matter to these people whether they're a genuine criminal or not, they just want to stir up racial tensions as much as possible.

race is typically an issue where more people are willing to discuss it, where as i still see mens rights being dismissed on a large scale. gender and race incarceration rates are pretty good comparisons, especially as it allows you to more accurately assess the numbers.

They can be but be careful of people who will try to say they cant be compared because institutional sexism against men cant exist therefore the issue is really about race.

But really I try not to compare them just so they cant fall back on that.

My guess is both are largely influence by variable that are poorly accounted for.

Women tend to cry more etc.

Well when you adjust for all factors of incarceration rates i/e education, wealth, social etc... black people still have the absolute worst rate of incarceration/committing crimes. Latin/hispanic people's including illegals have half the crime rate of blacks while having vastly less wealth overall as well as education. Leaving really just one single cause of this crime rate/incarceration issue and that is of culture. It's not a racism thing because crime rates are roughly the same if not worse in areas that are controlled by minorities i/e baltimore/DC. It's a toxic culture that perpetuates the coolness of ignorance and crime. They just refuse to listen to this because it's just so much easier to blame everyone else for it.
