I was in tears when I was told of this.

Chances are if you're involved in genital integrity activism you at least knew who Jonathan was. Lovely man, he deserved better—as do many, many men just like him.

EDIT: I can't stop thinking about this. I keep going back to it; this could have been my partner or any of the men I've talked to over the years that are quietly dealing with depression and grief over this issue. In fact, chances are at least some of the ones I've lost touch with are now gone.
