I've seen a lot of hatred of feminists so I just want to remind everyone. The feminists we hate aren't all feminists; in fact, the majority of feminists support men's rights as well as women's rights. It's just that the more radical group, the ones that are actually misandric, while being a small part of the Feminist movement, are also the most vocal group. In a way, we can say that the Men's Right's movement is also "radical" because it doesn't follow convention, so being radical isn't necessarily 'bad', but it is unpopular, and the radical feminists are unpopular as well.

That being said, I am neither for or against feminists. I think those who try to solve problems for men AND women are real humanitarians. However, it is not up to anyone to say who is or isn't a real feminist (See 'No Real Scotsman Fallacy'). We should not try to excuse the radical feminists' behaviour; instead I'm trying to provide a little more context to the situation, because browsing this subreddit gets very depressing, very fast, and it also gives the impression that the entire world hates men and misandrists/feminazis/whatevers are everywhere. That just isn't what the real world is like. You might have had experiences with these kinds of people, but on a global/national average, they're not a big proportion of the population, or even the feminist community.

Edit: Ok it looks like I'm kinda wrong on this one. In general, it seems as though even though there's a small % of misandrist feminists, they've sort of captured gov. attention. In any case, just remember that feminists are a small part of the overall population, so that makes it a little easier to swallow.
