I feel like women are trying to push this pro-female culture in grade schools. My son’s teacher automatically responds to students with phrases like, you go girl. The teacher assistant automatically assumes the parents are women. It’s bullshit. Don’t they know that there are males in this world? And if they don’t know if a person is male or female, then why do they automatically respond with a female in mind? Why can’t they simply say: Good Job, You did it, Excellent? Why does it have to be: You go girl, and yes ma’am? I feel like it’s a closed-minded mentality. And these people are the woman that are teaching our children and running the schools. Before the pandemic, I have experienced constant bias by the women in the schools. As if, because I’m a man, I couldn’t possibly be competent or a good parent. Even though I’m the parent that handles my son’s schooling. Even though I’m always there, I’m the parent that they deal with, my son always gets good grades, and I always volunteer to help out with field trips and the like.
I understand that traditionally it’s been the women that handle the children and their schooling. And now in this pandemic, we don’t actually see each other most of the time. Communication is handled a lot through messages and emails. But if you don’t always know who’s on the other end, why assume it’s a girl/woman. My son is a boy. He’s a student. When they're not in a video class, the teachers and staff always assume the student is a girl. Don’t they know boys go to school as well? I know I’m just venting here. But this is the 3rd school my kid has gone to and this “pro-female” trend has been consistent with all 3 schools. It’s really making wonder WTH is really going on in society? I’ve had chit-chats with other dads over the years and during this pandemic where I find that they notice the same things I do. So... this isn’t just me being a prick here. I’m all for women being treated equally. I believe it’ll lead to a better society for all. But I feel like they’re trying to put girls above boys instead of ACTUALLY treating them like their equals. There are a number of other things I’ve noticed this mentality is in over the years dealing with my son’s schools. From disciplinary actions, recognition, etc. I just feel like everything is meant to benefit the females and our boys are being ignored or even left behind.
All I’m saying is it’s the 21st century. We are supposed to be working hard for equality. Feminists are always screaming about equality between males and females. However, I feel that it’s not actually the case. That us men are looked down upon and not to be treated fairly. (I know from personal experience that family court definitely doesn't!)
I’m not bashing women here. A number of them are actually excellent teachers. I could never do (nor want to do) the job they do in teaching our children. I tip my hat to them. Some of these kids and their parents are absolute monsters, and teaching, in general, is hard enough as it is. More power to them for doing these jobs and dealing with these people. HOWEVER, I think there’s a “pro-female culture” plaguing our grade schools that will end up causing harm in society in the years to come. I think the need to empower females has gone too far and we need to scale it back a bit and re-examen what we’re actually believing is “equal” these days. I don’t think anyone is at fault here. I just think that every now and then we as a people need to take a step back and take stock of what’s going on.
