Nice article. I agree, feminists hate male feminists as they don't compute with feminist "all men are evil" theory. And I agree that even discussing gender issues with a feminist is considered abuse and evidence of sexism.

In other words, MRAs(at least those who are lackeys and imitators of Paul Elam) are cut from the same mold of self-proclaimed liberals in Egypt, who were down with The Army not only overthrowing a democratically elected leader(Mubarak), but also trying mightily to marginalize The Muslim Brotherhood and The Salafis into irrelevance. MRAs and those military dictatorship-loving liberals in Cairo are full-blooded champions of freedom of thought and expression, so long as those who don't think exactly as they do are effectively silenced and shunted off to the outskirts of civilization

Look, I'm not entirely unsympathetic to the sort of thinking exhibited by both the supporters of the military junta that's been ruling the Land of The Pharaohs since Hosni was ousted, and MRAs in modern day America.... When we FEEL like someone has done us dirty, we all experience a visceral urge to wipe those whom we believe responsible for our pain off the face of the planet; we're almost always highly resistant to all suggestion that our feelings may not be entirely factual. Vigorously as we all profess our love of representative government when we're in front of the cameras, there's an inner toddler within all of us that throws a fit whenever our policy makers don't do exactly what we want them to do at all times, and who yearns for a world where everyone who holds beliefs we find objectionable is shipped off to a desert island in some remote corner of the globe, so that our delicate eardrums never have to be assailed by their words once again

Goes without saying, infantile fantasies like that aren't remotely consistent with The US Constitution, which protects freedom of belief and expression for ALL OF US, not just those whom we personally agree with. If we're serious about not just men's rights, but upholding civil rights for one and all, that's going to mean that feminists are going to have just as much right to participate in the political process as the rest of us do, even if that means us fencing with them from time to time. If we're now advocating only for our own liberty, rather than enhancing the freedom of all Americans to be themselves and true to their consciences.... Well, we're now guilty of the sort of solipsism that not only feminists, but all other practitioners of identity politics are
