Haha, this reminds me about the "mansplaining hotline" we had some drama about here in Sweden just last week.

A Mansplaining hotline to reduce "male dominance technics" in the workplace. (swedish: för att minska manliga härskartekniker på arbetsplatsen). To support equality and work against sexism. ... Only they did it in the most sexist inequal approach possible... almost. I left them, they are the workers union for STEM fields (55% males before this "hotline" and now they won't publish new statistics untill next year... they say it's policy... ). But hey! There are other unions that don't waste money on bullshit so im good :)

Bitch please. Induction is necessary in every subject except mathematics. And it is not only necessary, it is great! It makes vulnerable to testing, which is amazing because humans can be so wrong. The greatest mansplainers in history would hardly figure out a thing on how the world works if they were locked in a room without tools. In history, philosophers and priests have made very little progress because they built their worldviews on false ideas that became more and more detached from reality. Think of the theory of the four humours, which persisted because empirical testing was below the status of doctors. Not so much unlike feminism and related ideas in modern social science.

It read like it's a response to a generalisation and if so, he/she is not generalizing. Maybe someone said "men work and take care of the house and the kids at the same time" and she responds "women also work and take care of kids and the house at the same time". Which is true: she's not saying all women, but there are women who do. So I don't see what's wrong with this comment, until we see the comment it meant to respond to.
