I distinctly remember a YouTube video of a study/report on violence against men. It was basically an experiment- a staged couple were having an argument in a public place (a park I think), and all of a sudden a woman started slapping men and no one bat an eye or even cared to interrupt the fight. However, when the roles were reversed (a man started to fight with his girl), tons of people were there to help.
