I'm a (somewhat) frequent poster here and I'm looking for some help on how to respond to the blatant discrimination I came across today. I came into the law building at my university today and noticed about 20 red, full-sized wooden cutouts of women's silhouettes, apparently aimed at creating awareness about domestic violence (towards women). Each of these cutouts has a plaque affixed to the chest with a detailed explanation of the (brutal) suffering each woman was subjected to at the hands of men.

As a man this display makes me feel quite uncomfortable. It certainly presents the message that men are more dangerous than women and I can almost feel my female classmates judgement as I am forced to walk by this display inbetween each class. I'm well aware of the fact that men are victims of DV too, arguably at as high or even a higher rate than women.

I'm looking for some concise (only a few pages max) info I can tape to the wall next to the display to illustrate that men suffer from DV too and make a point that it is not acceptable to overlook men when discussing this issue. This display seems to unfairly imply that all men are to be feared.

I'm in class right now, but if you guys want I'll post some pictures of the display when I get out. I tried to google the information, but I can't seem to find anything concise and/or reliable enough to have much of an impact. Thanks for your help.
