This is really just a short post. I've noticed in online news sites and blogs that many many more men are sticking up for themselves or calling out the old anti-male paradigms in the comments. While its hardly a strong political influence, I think public opinion is slowly moving to be more friendly to men and masculinity.

Someone talks about DV and how men need to learn to stop causing it, you'll find a few guys linking back to studies showing DV is reciprocal.

Men are peter panning and not marrying? Men will point out how marriage in the first world is currently a bad deal.

While I'd say 50% of commenters seem to be roughly educated on Men's Rights, there's also a lot of 'civilians' (men and women) who chime in on the side of men. The biggest kickback is against any blatant man=bad, woman=good argument. Man=Bad/Wrong had a lot more traction 20 years ago then what I see it getting now.

I'm curious to see what other people are seeing out there either online or even in conversations in real life. Do you guys think there's more awareness now than there was 5 years ago? Anti-feminism taking off?
