The competition is tough, because those are the high paying jobs. Or rather, have the potential to be high paying.

What type of jobs are you thinking of?

In addition, how are those guys going to support themselves? Can't get pregnant and get child support to subsidize your lifestyle. Such as upgrading from a Studio to a 2 bedroom apartment.

Pay is going to be the biggest thing, followed by social status.

Personally I'd recommend healthcare and arts to young men if the traditional labor and technical jobs aren't personally viable. Of course there are many other options.

Healthcare is a very secure, decently well-paying job sector with some huge upsides. RNs make wages that come close to junior engineers and journeymen. Also you could get massive access to women close in status to yourself. Many or most jobs are unionized with all the benefits it brings. Male therapists, psychologists, etc. are in huge demand. Also, men are in demand in veterinary medicine since they are more likely to work on large (farm) animals where the working environment is a bit less forgiving but the pay is better.

Artists/artisans get a huge bonus in social status vs. most occupations. Maybe not "prestige" exactly, but you can punch well above your income if you have any reach. If you're worried about your masculinity, there are many options. Guys who paint graffiti, chisel stone by hand, hammer red-hot metal into shapes, cut ice or wood with a chainsaw, or whittle wood with a knife are not likely to be questioned about their masculinity. Arts are perfect for guys who are fiercely independent and entrepreneurial.

One of the biggest problem is esg Having more female worker is better for esg scores. So company avoid hiring men unless they have to

So I would suggest campaigning against esg. It need to go so companies can hire more on merit

Got a business degree, 6 sigma black belt, and MBA, after 27 years of hard work run the US division of a european manufacturing company. Would recommend a combo of engineering under grad, get into a marque company management development program, work through the program and decide if you want to stsy, fastest route to c suite is a top 20 us mba school mba and moving into increasing responsibility. Great income potential and travelled through 35 cp Countries for work. Lots of downs and ups but worth it.

Trades is not always horrible on the body. No doubt it can be though.

The more technical and skilled the less brutal they are.
