Ill make this short and fill in the details if anyone cares to ask or respond to this. Last year between July and August I dated woman for about six weeks. It was brief and not very serious. ;It became pretty clear pretty early that this woman was unstable. I broke off the relationship and rekindled things with my ex-girlfriend who is now my wife. Soon after I broke it off with her she started making accusations of sexual assault against me. The accusations were absolutely absurd, so I mostly ignored them and tried to move on with my life.

Fast forward to Dec. 1st 2017. SHe went to the police station in the city that I live and filed formal sexual assault charges against me. I received a call from a sex crimes detective and he asked me to come in for an interview. I agreed to do so and I gave him my side of the story. Just received a call from the detective earlier this week letting me know that the DA decided not to pursue charges and that the case has been closed.

This brings me to my question. The woman who accused me of this crime has had a fairly prominent (locally) travel blog. After I broke things off with her, the travel blog shifted to a blog whose sole purpose is to attack me. About two months ago, on her blog, she called me a rapist and then gave my full legal name, my address, where I work, where I went to high school and what year I graduated, and a detailed description of my car. Then this last Friday, she wrote another blog calling me a rapist that included several pictures of my face. I can think of no other reason for her to do this other than to encourage some kind of retaliation. Would I have a strong case for Libel? Wouldn't these accusations be considered Defamation Per Se?

Any advice anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.
