Maybe because boys have an innate understanding of what's acceptable behavior, or, more likely perhaps, because because boys are taught, from an early age, what is and isn't acceptable behavior.

But this lack of open display of love is what we should be allowing boys to display and receive, to accept and to help them grow emotionally, isn't it?

Why do we want men to become void of emotion, at a young age when they're still growing? So that when they're confused by how outsiders treat them harshly, they don't feel a sense of safety in their own homes? They feel like they have no support?

Every sapling goes through the process of dealing with rain and shine until they eventually become a large tree, capable of standing on its own and providing fruits and shelter to those who rely on them. Doesn't mean they don't need braces, tending to the weeds that grow on them etc. when they're growing into that large tree.

We don't want men to have no emotional support when they're learning how to be resilient, not having their own purpose yet, and self-yeeting when things get tough. But starving young girls of these moments, saying if I can't have it, so can't you isn't the answer either.

Yes, girls eventually need to be taught to behave appropriately, but that imo is a problem distinct from what these boys are facing.
