I wasn't sure where to ask this, but I figure this place would be appropriate. I would like to get married some day, have a house, maybe even a kid. But that last part is unlikely, and given the family history of shitty marriages I would like to have a hedge against that in any eventuality, a prenuptial agreement.

Is there anything legally out there that would allow me to further define my status in parenthood, a sort of written-consent needed for being a father? I know MensRights has said before there aren't many male reproductive rights out there (no widely applicable male pro-choice, opt-out of parenthood), but with a pre-nup would there be such a thing possible? If a less-than-sane partner decided to have a kid within marriage outside of my consent (stop taking the pill), with a pre-nup could I forfeit parenthood?
