I took a look at the very dubious post from https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/3i0qrx/doing_my_college_orientation_online_course_on/?sort=confidence while I was at work tonight, and decided to ask a few people there what their thoughts on the matter were.

One of the servers (female) disagreed with me when I spoke of how it's rather twisted, and this is paraphrased to be as direct as possible, saying "I shouldn't have to pay attention to how much I drink." followed by "I've been in that situation before." detailing how she'd been black out and in a bad spot a few times.

Essentially, this is her saying "If we're both drunk and something happens, the man is responsible. I don't have to pay attention to how much I drink. I shouldn't have to (be responsible for my own actions)." which anybody who can apply basic logic should see as absurd. Men have to be responsible, but to her, women should not be. Last time I checked, responsibility being almost completely one sided means that the other person is a child, whether it be physically, mentally, or both. Make a choice people - you're either a child, or an adult. You can't have both worlds.
A feminist would chew you out for trying to coddle her though, since everything in that little self absorbed world only applies situationally when and where it suits them. Surprise, surprise when you have no self control or responsibility, bad things have a much greater tendency to happen. This doesn't forgive people who knowingly manipulated others (one person being much more drunk than the other), and committed actual sexual assault (if not rape), but cause and effect should be pretty god damn clear. Except it obviously isn't...
