Just to add to the absurdity of my ongoing saga. Today, I got further reprimanded for having referred to a colleague as "bitchy". Totally fair EXCEPT it was said behind closed doors to my supervisor who often says similar things (calling her husband a "basic bro", making fun of his intelligence, and often saying things like "thank God HR isn't around.") I was given a link to learn more on micro aggressions (keep in mind I was on our DEI committee for 2 years). Adding insult to injury, last week when I met with HR, she called me "cocky" saying I come across as too confident. Last time I checked, cocky (a reference to an impudent male bird) is as much of a microaggression as bitchy (a reference to a rude female dog). One was said to my face while the other was said in what was thought to be a 'safe space'. This continues to be such a fucking joke.
