He ended with "International men's day, hell yes." So that's a resounding endorsement from Forbes, which is pretty big but conservative. Where is the NYT's? Google?

Many people will be left wondering why men need a special day, when every day could be considered male.

What a stupid line to put in the article. He should not be propagating this kind of misandrist propaganda.

There's some positive things in this article (note: it is from 2019):

An acknowledgement that TM is not necessarily a helpful term. Instead he employs the term "Stereotype Threat" and emphasises belonging and diverse identity.
Obliquely criticising an MRA without completely condemning the idea. This suggests he has actually listened to some perspectives before forming an opinion.
Endorsing the value of International Men's Day.

But there's a big problem with the article too. Although, as noted, he questions the value of TM as a term, he still implies that men's main problems are internal.

Key quote:

"If International Women’s Day is to celebrate women’s success in the face of sexism, IMD can celebrate men challenging stereotype threat."

In other words, men don't face sexism or systemic problems. If we can just fix our issues with masculinity stereotypes, everything will be fine.

shocked to see an accurate assessment regarding the concerns for those that follow MRA by someone on a Diversity and Inclusion committee if I'm being perfectly frank.
