Question from a non-MRA: Why do MRAs hate that women get "half the shit" after a divorce? If a marriage consists of 2 people, doesn't it make sense that each person gets 50% of all the stuff they used to own?

Most of the time men just hate not having a chance to get the kids, custody hearings are heavily weighted in favour of the mother irrespective of who might actually be the better parent.

I am not against every gynocentric law or rule. But, at one point, the system became so biaised while the rhetoric so anti male that i am now contesting any rule favoring women in the name of the so called equality.

We basically want the same rules applied to everyone. Especially legally as in domestic violence, or employement discrimination.

Now, i am not personally concerned with the stuff about alimony and marriage, but i know that problems in relationships, like cheating, are always blamed on the men (what did he do to make her cheat). That society will help and condone woman behaviour a lot, while men escape from abusive relationship is often fatal. Women have a lot of way to exit relationships with prejudice for the pan, while we do have a moral and financial obligation to stay at the service of the former spouse even after the relation.

So, a rule for everyone, unbiaised appliance of the law and a less gendered approach to relationship is my position on this.

Also, alimony should help the children primarly. Not the ex's lifestyle. If someine fail to use it for the children, guardianship should be revised.

Relationship change over time which is completly neutral then why should I pay my wife alimony which I divorced 10 years ago ? The laws where made to protect the not working parent and not taking someones money just bc you were married.
