I think that overall MRM's attempts to recognize rape of men as a thing that actually exists have been sort of successful (hence the two gay guys in My Strength propaganda), even though pretty many people still think rape is a male-on-female thing only.

Did that accomplish anything for gender equality? No, this didn't accomplish shit.

Overal discourse has shifted from "all women are raped by men, constantly, all the time" (I've seen hilarious statistics such as 90% of women being rape victims - being hit on of course counts as rape there), to "men rape everybody, constantly, all the time".

Which is supported by the often cited statistics that 98% rapists are men.

Surely most rapists have to be men, due to purely biological reasons. But 98%? Seems to be a little bit too high, how did they count it? Or is it even true? If not, are there any sources that prove that men are being raped by women not fifty times less than women being raped by men?

Because if this is slander, this is obviously a viral slander to imprint in people's minds without context (Also, re: wage gap)
