Try to post anything about false allegations, post exposing feminism, talking about toxic femininty or anything that ruin the image of women.

Menslib acts as if they care for men. But what they care for is to twist every male issue into a women's issue and make men feminist to help women.

My experience was that they allowed men to speak about being raped by a woman (yes, allowed, because men aren't normally allowed to tell their story there), and even then they put a requirement that you take women's feelings into account when you tell your story.

That's really the crux of that sub. Women first, men... maybe...eventually.... if it doesn't negatively impact women in any way...

Its explicitly a feminist subreddit.

The foundational principals of all flavours of feminism are inherrently anti-male when you examine what needs to be true for them to accurately describe reality. Feminists can claim that it's "just about equality", but it's equality based on bigotted assumptions, presuming psychopathy on the part of men as a class.

Egalitarian values, and mens rights advocacy in particular, is innately antifeminist.

There are a lot of examples I can give you but the founder of MensLib claims that misandry doesn't exist and mocks people who think misandry is a problem.

Their subreddit is also based on feminists who oppose equality for fathers and claims men are not victims of domestic violence. The moderators have specifically endorsed these feminists and have said that their subreddit is based on this type of feminism.

EDIT: OP's post is only at 57% but we should be upvoting posts like this because this needs to be talked about and people need to be informed.

I'll do my best to explain the differences I've observed personally but obviously this will include some generalising and bias. Not every user is going to share the same opinion as the rest of the subreddit but there are definite trends towards certain things. For personal context, I browse /r/MensLib far more often nowadays as /r/MensRight left a bad taste in my mouth after browsing it a couple of years ago.

/r/MensRights views feminism as something that is inherently opposed to men. A lot of MRA's want to return to a more traditional manliness. MRA's would not identify as feminists. No part of masculinity is toxic to /r/MensRights. You'd get downvoting for suggesting toxic masculinity is a thing. Your average MRA thinks that men are the more oppressed gender.

/r/MensLib is much more inclusive of feminism in it's views. MensLib views feminism isn't something that's directely opposed to men getting treated properly. MensLib people would identify as feminists. Your average MensLib person wants to critically examine masculinity and find ways of address the toxic aspects while celebrating what they find good about masculinity. You'd get downvoting for suggesting toxic masculinity isn't a thing. Your average MensLib member thinks that women are the more oppressed gender but men still issues of their own.

If MensRights people believe high suicide rates are something that can be solved by reverting to a more traditional standard of masculinity, MensLib believes in redefining masculinity to allow men to be more emotionally open and providing support for them as a solution.

I'm active there, and appreciate the community very much. It's a place where I can feel comfortable and sheltered. But, there are some issues, especially with the main moderator.
