About two years ago, I, as the hiring manager took on a female employee to work a Night-shift driving mobile plant, it didn't take long to realise that this may have been a massive mistake, as, within weeks she had started causing problems.

First, she fell out with one of the guys on the shift, and actually threatened him. The supervisor on site at the time, should have dealt with it, but for some reason chose not to, this quickly escalated to her accusing him of stalking her, a charge which he was able to disprove,.

A few months later, she then decided to go to our HR department and accuse me of bullying, and promptly went off sick with stress, this led to me be interrogated by our HR dept at which numerous unfounded allegations were levelled at me. After I was cleared of any wrongdoing she returned as if nothing had happened, and was quiet for 3 weeks.

Unfortunately, just about everyone knew it wouldn't last, and six weeks later, she accused two of her colleagues of bullying, harassment and victimisation, unfortunately for her, I was ready for, and summoned her to the office with her two colleagues for a meeting to ascertain what the issue was, a meeting which was recorded with their consent. It was at this meeting where, when she was reminded that all two way radio conversations were recorded, she started furiously back pedalling.

As expected she went off sick with "stress" again, after which I called a meeting with our HR dept, and told them that I and all of her colleagues didn't want her back, the colleagues she had targeted also threatened the company with a grievance at which the company suspended her.

I have now had it confirmed that she has had her employment terminated, so today is a very good day.
