The day I lost my virginity.

Having a (very non-feminist) girlfriend who said "You don't have to ask anymore. You can just do it to me". That unconditional acceptance from a woman amazed me.

Boot camp and airborne school in the Army.

Starting my first real post-college job, in a city far from home.

When my wife and I decided to have a baby, and I was firing for effect, so to speak.

The day my first child was born. Being a dad for the first time.

The day I bought my first house, sitting by the pool, and not believing that I owned it.

The day we got the puppy, with the 3rd kid still an infant and my wife a stay-at-home mom. My whole white suburban middle class patriarchal family fantasy was complete - now I just had to pay for it all!

Yeah, posting in r/mensrights or a couple of other sub-reddits will get you banned from the most worthless sub-reddit. You have lost nothing of value.

Buying alcohol for the first time without being challenged for ID was pretty awesome. Buying my first hammer, also. Repairing a piece of furniture with more than just glue, first day of full-time work, first time being treated as a legitimate concern by the police... those are the big ones, I think.
